If you’re traveling by car, make sure the vehicle has been maintained, including oil changes and radiator flushes. Check your tires for wear and pressure. A cross-country move can affect kids – particularly pre-teens and adolescents - differently than adults. Keep them busy during moving day with car games, movies and books. That is, if you can pull them away from their smartphones.
